With magazine covers and commercials everywhere we turn showing one type of beauty, how can we accept and love ourselves as we are? Or… if we are wanting to set a new health standard, where do we start?

It’s no surprise that many women (and girls) have complexes and self loathing from a young age.  Self love for our body is the first step. How we take care of our body on all levels reflects in how we feel and how much self love we receive. What do we eat? How do we nourish our body? What kind of exercises do we do to move energy and go deeper? What kind of thoughts do we think silently all day long? The list goes on and on.

  • If you can’t understand the ingredients, it probably is not good for you
  • Start becoming aware of how you feel after you eat something. For example, when I eat anything with sugar in it- I start to feel depressed within an hour.
